The number of showing for tomorrow keeps increasing.  As of now we have 4 showings which means we need to be gone for 5 hours.  One is a repeat, another a couple flying in from out of town just to see our home-interesting.

And I guess we're finally allowed to say it - my song Simply is up for a 2015 Mac Award for Best Song.  Given my long history with awards, I'm thinking I don't need to book a trip to NY, but it's nice to be recognized for that particular song.

Congrats, BK!

Think of it this way...you're in the top 5!  Just imagine how many songs were written during the eligible time period that DIDN'T get nominated!  You beat out every one of those!!

:D

And I am home from proofreading and dinner with our DR ChasSmth. He went east to City Center and i headed west to 8th Avenue and the 104 bus.  The weather is dreadful, and I will not go to Toyland in the morning. I will stay in until around 1:00 and then head to City Center for the encores! matinee.

I can go to Toyland on Sunday and see what I can accomplish.

I shall shortly be on my way to the theater.  Finished proofing and I may be able to get together with Grant tomorrow morning, which would be a good thing.

Nicky's vacation may be over before it even got started.  The half hour drive to my friend's house turned into an hour and a half drive due to the heavy rain.  Nicky cried the entire time in the car.  I was not even half way home when I get a call from my friend.  Nicky peed all over himself inside the carrier.  the room she put him already reaks of urine and will need to have the carpet cleaned.  He is still crying once in a while, but she doesn't know if he is going to continue to urinate in the house.

She is supposed to call me back at any time to tell me if I need to come pick up Nicky and take him home.

Oh, no!  Hopefully, Nicky will feel comfortable soon enough!

And now, it's time for me to leave work.  It's raining here and I left my jacket in my car.  I hope my non-water-proof watch and Kindle don't get too wet. :-\

Until later!

It looks like Nicky will get to vacation after all.  With an emergency phone number left to summon a friend of mine to bring him home if needed.

I don't think my friend knows what it is like for a cat to be put into a new environment.  New smells, new furniture, and new people.  I had a cat that hid for the first forty eight hours in my house.  I knew he was okay, because he cam out and ate his food, but that was it.

I had a pogo stick when I was a kid.  The spring was really big and tight and it was very hard to use.  It also hurt when you fell off of it
