I've been watching THE ANZAC GIRLS. (ANZAC=Australia-New Zealand Army Corps) They were a group of nurses who supported Allied troops during WWI. A bit of Hollywood in it, but a good drama just the same.

Congrats to DR Laura on her cholesterol results.

I received my latest lab results yesterday morning. I've made progress, too. My cholesterol tends to be a little high, but the previous test showed it much higher than usual. Huh? As a vegetarian I don't eat fatty meats, or even much dairy; where did it come from? I think it must be from that to-die-for chocolate mousse that my favorite food store started making. I exercised CONSIDERABLE restraint, plus added the red yeast rice supplement that my doctor recommended, and it's now coming down. I'm pleased.

Have you had any experience with the air fryers? I love the concept, but am a bit skeptical of the results. It would be wonderful to have air-fried foods, assuming of course that it tasted good.

"Blithe Spirit," with Dame Angela Lansbury, is in town till the 29th. It also stars Charles Edwards, who played Michael Gregson on Downton Abbey. I got a ticket the other day for the closing show, with the thought that it may be Ms. Lansbury's last stage performance.
