Thanks, DR George. We are doing a tribute concert to composer Stephen Paulus, who died last year after suffering a stroke. He was local, but his 600 compositions have been performed around the world. He is especially known for his songs, chamber operas, and choral works.

Have a good afternoon!

DR Jeanne I am glad the red yeast worked for you.  I have known people who gave up on it.  Since I eat too many sweets, including dairy, I know it is only my vegetarian diet that keeps my numbers in the normal range.  Vibes you can continue to control this without meds.

I'm up, I've shaved, shortly I'll shower and then be on my way to do the signing, then to the theater, then to The Federal.

I'm told we got a very nice mention on Playbill from someone comparing four cast albums of Follies.

Good morning.

This is for JRand and Cillaliz. An interesting article about Juror Number 17:

I just realized I am set to host my book group in May.  I left a message with the April person to see if I may take her day, still letting her lead the discussion.  I don't even want to discuss this book-lol.  It doesn't mean it won't be an interesting one just because I am not into the book.

Here's a link to the article
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/were-losing-our-minds-comparing-four-recordings-of-sondheims-follies-344560

"In 2012, Bruce Kimmel of Kritzerland remixed the original recording, cleaning up the sound and establishing a clarity for this version that heightened its listenability. A total of 2,500 copies of this recording were made available, and it should be in the collection of any musical theatre enthusiast."

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We attended church with Rob and Mary Linda today and went to lunch at a little Greek place we all like.  Afterwards, they went their way and we went ours to shop at Target for my Mom and to visit with her a bit.  Richard and I then grocery shopped for ourselves and finally go home about half an hour ago.

Nightmare day at work. The credit card system is down throughout Fedex Office. Do you know how difficult it is to tell people they have to use old fashion cash?

Howdy folks!

Yesterday's all-day travel was very tiring.  I am now onboard ship.  Took a lovely little nap out on the private balcony.  The ship is expected to sail at any time.

Nicky has  calmed down and is now doing fine.  He actually sent me a photo to my iphone.

I hope all is well!  Great news about the BK nomination and the WAGON recording!

Later folks!

I've read that article -- thanks DR LAURA.  Funny how it doesn't mention how the full names of the 11 other jurors and their addresses were published on a JA website....there are a lot of people who should be investigated there....but I'm not much interested in reading anything else about it....let's get to the sentencing and move on!!!!

And the article was written by Michael Kiefer who calls Jodi his "fiancee."  :P

DR vixmom, do you have any idea about your Manhattan time? Dinner with you would be a lovely way to spend some of my day.

I say it's always time for a Manhattan. But I'm having a Negroni right now.

Ushered for the symphony this afternoon. Best of it was Stravinsky's Petrushka. I first her that music when I was a freshman in high school and Barishnikov danced the role. I remember him clearly but hated the music then. Wasn't ready for it.

Today I lived the music and was glad there was no dancing.
