We are sitting on the deck enjoying the views and the nice weather.

If I did that I would be in great danger of drowning

;D

I came in as my legs are a wee bit cold since I am wearing short.  I do have on a hoodie over my t-shirt.

We had a nasty  lightening storm earlier today - it must have been right above the office the lightening flashed and the thunder crashed simultaneously , the building shook and all the cars in the parking lot began blinking and beeping and howling

All the cars, sounds like a hit.

Wow, I am 4 books behind my normal reading schedule according to my Goodreads book challenge for the year.  Normally I am at least 1 book ahead.

I'm browsing the internet for photos of our latest visitors to our pond.  Yesterday we saw this lovely lady.

It's not been a goober-free act one, but nothing was catastrophic...fortunately. ;D

My more difficult scenes are in act one, so I felt more relaxed now. :)

Then had to deal with some book stuff - because the publisher uses PCs they could not open the Hightail files - said it was password protected even though it absolutely was not (I got a copy and downloaded it and opened everything without need of a password).  My hatred of PCs just graduated to a new level.  So, I sent them all eight files in one e-mail from gmail and that they got and all was well.  Then they asked me for an e-mail from Dick Lochte saying we had permission to use his blurb.  Say what?  I responded instantly and tersely for them to stop - that Mr. Lochte has blurbed almost every single book I've written and that they've never asked for any letter from any blurber for any of the fifteen books, including last year's.  They stopped and said it was fine.

Yeah, because, you know, Dick Lochte might have been blurbing someone else's Murder at the Hollywood Division, right?
