Good morning, all! It's a dark, rainy day, and I slept in. I had a long dream about the late Robert Kane, who was my Latin teacher for four years at Miami University, and probably the best instructor I ever had. He died last January, in late summer I ha lunch in the City with his widow and one of his sons. In my dream, I was visiting him in Oxford, OH, and he was still a young man with three young children, two sons and a daughter. In reality, I knew him before he and his wife had children, and they had two sons, no daughter. The dream seemed to alternate between Oxford and my neighborhood.
So, I'm doing little today, mainly fussing about the apartment with no exertion. I may write a few orchestra parts for a personal project, and that would be about all.
