Well, ladies and germs, this afternoon I finally got the lead out and set up my Medicare supplemental insurance and prescription plan. I'll be paying a little more than I'd like, but it's really the addition of the damned drug plan that makes it feel over the top. But as of April Fool's Day, I've once again got total coverage, as opposed to just the basic Medicare.
I know people who don't bother with supplemental, but I already got burned with my little five-minute ear infection visit last month, and I'm the type who'd rather pay a steady, predictable amount every month than face the unknown every time I sneeze and go to the doctor.
