TO THE BOUDOIR

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the boudoir, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently on their way to the MOOdoir.

I used to be Facebook friends with DR Ann, but she dumped me.

Happy Birthday, former DR Ann!

I seem to be constitutionally unable to sleep more than 6 hours at a time.       ???

Likewise from these quarters as well.  Hoping they'll drop in at least.

I get a preview of my next little gig this afternoon.  The high school that hires me and sometimes one or two others to augment the pit for their spring musicals is doing ANNIE.  I'm sitting in on today's rehearsal with the aim of figuring out what needs and doesn't need to be covered, keyboard-wise.

Good morning, all!

I finished reading a book abut the 1980 National Theatre of Great Britain production of Brecht's GALILEO around midnight, so I wasn't in bed before 12:30 last night, and I slept late.  It will be a long day at Chelsea Music to finish proofing this Duck Dynasty finale.

I really do not know when i go in today.  I will call at noon and see f any material is ready for me.

Darn, it is wet and gloomy out there.  I hope it clears up in time for the home inspection and the mountains are visable.

Color me pissed.  One of my asshole neighbors complained to building management that I had set seven cartons for Fed Ex outside my apartment on Sunday. The pickup has been scheduled for tomorrow, and i left a terse note n the cartons for the unhappy jerk.

I've had a phone call about my canceled life insurance - which is still in the air - and i go in to proofread around 2:30.  I also spoke to Joshie, who has some work on ZOBRA before the April 14 band reading, and we talked about his summer vacation to London, Prague and Budapest, which sounds like fun.

Tuesday afternoon greetings!  I had an early doctor's appointment that included fasting blood work, so afterwards Richard and I went out for breakfast.  Got home from that just in time to get back in my car to go to a noon book discussion at the library where I began my career.  Now I'm home for the afternoon before Richard and I go back out for the mayor's State of the City address at 6pm.  The washer repairman will be here anytime.

On a TCM promo for The Sound of Music, Peter Fonda declared that he was a stepgrandson of Oscar Hammerstein II......which I couldn't figure out....

Turns out that Henry Fonda's third wife Susan Blanchard's mother Dorothy's second husband was indeed Oscar Hammerstein II....so Susan was his step daughter....and for a few years...she was also Peter's stepmother.

I'm up, I'm up - barely.  I could not fall asleep so I took some Ny-Quil and imagine I finally dozed off at three or maybe later.  So maybe six hours tops because I was up several times.  I'm also groggy and my voice feels quite trashed so keep the excellent vibes and xylophones coming for no sickness.
