I loved DAVID AND LISA back in the 60's.  I thought Keir Dullea was one of the most soulful and handsome men I had ever seen

Here I am with Kevin, who plays Creon, and Drew who plays soldier number one.  :D

Well, I might enjoy your production of ANTIGONE after all.

Are we all -- all of us -- just April fools?

In an April dream, once you came to me
When you smiled I looked into your eyes
And I knew I'd be loving you and then you touched my hand
And I learned April dreams can come true

Are we just April fools
Who can't see all the danger around us?
If we're just April fools
I don't care, true love has found us now

Little did we know where the road would lead
Here we are a million miles away from the past
Travelin' so fast, now there's no turning back
If our sweet April dream doesn't last

Are we just April fools
Who can't see all the danger around us?
If we're just April fools
I don't care, we'll find our way somehow

No need to be afraid
True love has found us now

Back then I thought he looked a bit like Keith, only not as good looking.

TCB, I'm so sorry you're still feeling so sick. When you first mentioned it I thought you meant a minor cold that would likely pass quickly. I had no idea you were so sick! I'm glad you're home, though, safe and sound.

VIBES YOU FEEL BETTER PRONTO!!

I spent much of yesterday at the dentist. He prepped me last November and I was supposed to return in January for the BIG PROCEDURE, but I came down with the flu, so it's been delayed repeatedly. He'd warned me it'd be rough, but I don't think it was really any worse than the prep. I was in the chair for 2 1/2 hours and that's never easy, but the rest wasn't too bad.

The work was all done on the tongue side of my teeth, and eating is still a big strange, but I guess I'll get used to it.

I'm really glad it's over--and I HOPE it is, ie, no problems over the coming week. I return next week for a cleaning, so I can talk to him then if I need to.

Still fuming over that London friend.  I was looking forward to seeing him, but clearly I am not on his list of priorities. I may not be so quick to help him out when he sends a request for a favor.

I feel exhausted today. I think I was more worried about this than I was aware of; I didn't sleep well the previous two nights. I suspect I'm having a bit of a let-down.

I was not aware of Indiana's legislative problems. Thanks for filling us in, Jack. It just adds more color to an already colorful issue.

I understand how you feel. I feel that way with a lot of my friends. There's a lot of talk about being there for your friends, but I actually see very little of it--for me or others.

Welcome to Medicare to DR Chas! I'm glad you were able to obtain the full coverage you feel you need.

Medicare can be a real bargain compared to private insurance. I went with a Medicare Advantage program (HMO) at UCLA. I'd always planned to choose original Medicare, but the Medicare Advantage programs I've looked at offer real value--they even include some services not covered under Medicare and at no cost.
