A local group here is doing an 80th birthday tribute concert to Peter Schickele (aka P.D.Q. Bach). The first half of the program was devoted to his "serious" music, and the second half to comedy. There was a choir, a wind ensemble, and Mr Schickele himself narrating the entire thing. It was quite funny and a great evening.

Oh! I had such fun with them when I was a stage hand in college and they did a show at the University of Iowa.

Yep, I can remember those mid to late May snows. You go to bed one night after a beautiful day and wake up in the morning with snow on the ground. You want to jump out a window on those days! And this from someone who likes the snow.

It's usually gone before the day is over, though, so it's not too bad

I gave his stage manager a ride to the grocery store in my car and wasn't supposed to do that....rules about liability or something, so I almost got fired from my stage hand job. To make it up to me (he asked for a ride) they bought me dinner and drinks. it was fun
