Perhaps one of the most loving, worshipful parody-tributes I'd ever done on YouTube, about trying to raise money to see Petula Clark's cabaret show:

"Try Eating at Subway, Darling"

Very funny, Fred!

Today is Keith's birthday.  For his 17th birthday his parent's gave him 2 tickets to see "The Owl and the Pussycat" with Bill Bixby and he took his best friend, Me.  Two days later I was wearing his ring on a chain as a necklace.

A Very Happy Birthday to Jane's DH Keith!! :D

ALS benefit continued :  loved Melissa Manchester's song.  Even though I've heard Brent sing "All I Care About is Love" approximately 100 times (slight exaggeration) I think it was one if his best renditions of it!

Had the most wonderful breakfast with Petula, her musical director, and Jim Pierson, who produces a lot of CD compilations of classic singers, and who was our go-between with Petula and who kept on it until it happened.  We yakked for almost two hours, laughed and laughed, and I, of course, forgot to bring her a copy of Album Produced By, so I'll send it to her in London this week.

Tonight and tomorrow night, I won't be home right after work.  Tonight is a planning meeting for Theater Artists Olympia's fourth annual evening of one-acts, "An Improbable Peck of Plays" that we're putting on in August (or sometime around then); and tomorrow, I'm driving my friend Margo to the airport.  I'll have to leave work at about 3:45 pm tomorrow, so I'm planning on going up to Seattle after I drop her off to do some CD shopping. :D
