Sami rehearsal is done - she's in pain and cramping today, but it was still frustrating on certain levels and yet major strides today in interpretation and color, so I'll take that despite the fact that it's very difficult to be around her when she's like this.  At one point I told her (and we've told her this before) if she behaved like this in a professional rehearsal room she'd be fired on the spot, period.  She really needs to learn how to stop it and to work around it, because from my point of view even though we're in my living room it IS a professional rehearsal room.  I stopped her time and again to let her know that actual readings were really good, but the energy and joy were not and I needed her to smile - and she just wouldn't and I almost called the rehearsal three times.  It'll be better on Saturday.

Watching "Reba," a show I never watched when it was first shown.  I think it's pretty funny!

I used to watch this, but I only started watching it because I lived with my sister and niece at the time and my niece LOVED Reba and the show.  I ended up actually liking it, too.  It was good and Reba was good in it. :)

Thanks for checking in and updating us all, DR Dan M. Glad you got through it.

I always have to tell the anaesthesiologist NO INTUBATION for me, because it can ruin your singing voice for a long time. Although with the kind of procedure you had, that may be unavoidable.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go home.  But before I actually go home, I have to feed my friend's cats.  She'll be back Saturday, so I'll only have to feed them two more nights after tonight.

Be back later.

Today is my wife's day to volunteer at the temple for a group that helps Alzheimer's patients.  She's been doing it for about 5 years.

She was working in the kitchen when she tripped on the carpet, fell and hit her face on a metal table.  Two chipped teeth, a cut/swollen lip and a bruised arm and shoulder.

While they rushed her to the dentist, my neighbor drove me up to the temple, so that I could pick up her car, then I picked her up at the dentist.

She's okay; fingers crossed.

And I am home from the doctor.  I am going to begin with a TB test on May 6 and a sonogram of my neck, which I will try to accomplish on May 4 or 5.  I am doing nothing until the Encores! ZORBA closes.

Are they trying to prove that I am bad for you?

If she is in that much pain I think she needs to see a specialist.

DR Vixmom the escrow manager is no longer the manager.  She wanted to return to just doing closings and getting home earler at night.  They let her do this at the same salary.  She is also mentoring a new employee they hired to reduce the workload for their employees, though she did work late to get our closing done quickly.

Watched another thirty minutes of Blood and Black Lace.  I began writing the commentary earlier and got almost halfway through, so I'll try to finish it now.

TCB, did your last eye doctor mention the glaucoma or the cataracts? I had the impression both were a surprise, but perhaps not.

No, I have had the glaucoma for the past ten years.  It was the cataracts that threw me for a loop.
