My opinion of MARY POPPINS is that it has one of the most putrid and unmusical orchestrations I have ever heard come from a Broadway pit.  I can think of few shows where the pianists have worked so hard to so little effect.

But Lar, how do you really feel?

I'm done with work and am about to head to Seattle to pick up my friend and her daughter from the airport.  Since I didn't get to go to Silver Platters when I dropped them off, I found directions to another SP location (it's actually farther south so it's closer) and will go there before picking them up.  It's open until 10:00 pm and the flight doesn't come in until 11:00, so I have lots of time!  Hope I actually find something that I want to get. :D

Until later!

George, that is what SODO stands for, "South of Downtown."

No but I tried a new market about a 1/2 hour drive away and spent some time browsing. I went there because I was told they had some particular British imports I wanted for Vixdad but they did not have the items I wanted.  Although I did buy him three crunchy bars which he was quite happy to receive

The Row, formerly the Milford Plaza, looks like they have done a nice job remodeling.

I am sure that they still have some of those little phone booth rooms that they dump you in if you show up late for your reservation.

The banker at my new credit union called me and asked me to drop off some piece of paper today.  If I didn't know better, I would say he was flirting with me.

When I first signed up with the credit union, it was called the Social and Health Services Credit Union, and I worked for Social and Health Services.

Most credit unions in the Northwest have shared banking with other credit unions, so it wasn't like I had to drive to Olympia just to make a deposit.

Had an interesting Sami work session - back to old habits because she's been sick so hadn't once looked or thought about the show - can't do that and she finally has realized that this has to be the most important thing right now.  Gave her lots of notes and things to think about and we'll see how tomorrow goes.  I do think she'll automatically be not so hyper when there are people there.  She rushed everything so fast today that it literally shaved five minutes off the running time - unbelievable.
