Tonight there was a reception to announce the next season of our symphony.  It's the 100th season and they've planned some innovative stuff.

The next is Night at the Museum with a number of instruments from the National Music Museum some being played for the first time in years and years and years, with a piece that features that instrument.   Easier to see the picture than to describe this.  There will also be special feature with America's largest Indonesian percussion orchestra of 50 instruments

The next is going to be selected, presented and performed by the members of the orchestra. So they get to decide what they want to play.  Sounds  like fun

The encore is Gil Shaman on violin and then we all go outside to a block long tent set up like a night club with drinks and food where there will be a fusion of Mercury Soul with Mason Bates doing the hip hop dj thing interspersed with different classical numbers and breaks in between to mingle, drink eat....it sounds pretty crazy, but our conductor/musical director is a really inventive person and they all seem to work out really well, so it should be interesting

Finished watching one motion picture, part of another, and I'm going back and forth between the theatrical and uncut versions of The Fantasticks.  They really should have left it in the original cut.  Coppola cut way too much stuff and it's just not helpful at all - the only thing it does is make it shorter, not better.  The theatrical cut is in standard definition, squeezed to a 2.20 ratio and has faded color, but it's just great to have it.

So that's what I learned tonight.  Ryan Haskins, our conductor, said he loves it here because he can do all these innovative things and the community supports him and the orchestra.  I'm really looking forward to this upcoming season.

Good evening.  Back from (you know).  There were a few cast changes for various reasons, but it was a very good show tonight.  Surprisingly good.

Lately I have been having nights where I don't need to take any pain pills until bedtime.

Why, that sounds like the intro to a new song, "Pain Pills at Bedtime"! Could be the start of something big, I tells ya!

I'm logged in to Indiegogo and I've scrolled down the "funders" page and found my pledge, but I see no way to edit or delete it.

Of course it's getting late and I'm brain dead, but is there a place to do that?  I suppose there really might not be, but that doesn't seem right, either.  If anyone knows a way to do this, let me know and I'll change mine over to PayPal.

Indiegogo should clearly state the difference between directly entering a credit card and using PayPal.
