This has obviously been one bizarre day all around.

I won't even bore you with my silly adventures.  But everyone's having them today, and in the scheme of things I escaped relatively unscathed, for which I am grateful.  But what a frickin' day.

Glad the "silly adventures" didn't extend to DR John G.'s air travels...!     :)

The train was a regional Amtrack going from DC to New York.  Many of the news reporters are saying they use it often

Local news here in Tucson reported that a University of Arizona student who had volunteered to help the recovery efforts in Nepal is now missing after the latest earthquake. And, the U.S. Marine helicopter is missing there. Not sure if they can't communicate. Hope is that they are safe but out of reach.

Chas was right.  Today is a crazy day all over.  I had a half a dozen crazy drivers try to kill me today.

I hope that Vixmom will stay home from work tomorrow.  She needs to take it easy for once.

As long as it's not a contract, then it's just a strange confluence due to Mercury retrograde, or the quincunx. ;)

I think everyone should take a deep breath, relax, have some liquid refreshment and then - read a book (you know what I'm talkin' about). :)

Ah, Singdaw covertly wrote a review.

Format: Hardcover
Fans of Adriana will already want to read this book. And if you're not a fan, what are you waiting for? This unusual teen sleuth is back in an engaging investigation that starts with a bang and doesn't let go until the final pages. All your favorite characters are here, Weaving a light mix of suspense, humor, nostalgia, and cuisine, author Kimmel gets the balance just right in this fast-paced and entertaining spin. There are many reasons to read and enjoy this book, but this time there is one extra incentive, and I don't think it is giving too much away to say: BONUS RECIPES! You can enjoy this book as a standalone, but part of the fun comes from experiencing these characters' quirks as we've come to know them from all the previous installments. Highly recommended!
