Well, you've read the notes, the notes were signed, and now it is time for you to post until the signing cows come home.

TOD:

Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. Tracks rob shows of any life; as bk said in today's notes - they suck the life right out. Although now there's this technology where a "conductor" can tap out a beat on a little pad and at least give the actor/singers a little bit of autonomy with the music. Shows deserve to live with real live music, and real live musicians deserve their livelihood.

Second only to THAT problem is the current problem of penny-pinching producers who cut the orchestrations to nearly nothing (evidence last night's national tour of a major musical with only 5 players in the pit - they might as well have been tracks; they almost sounded like it. Such a pale imitation of the originals!

I must begin rising and shining, for this is the neice's first day as a young lady of America.  No wait, that's not right.  Get me to the church on time?  Better.  No, what I really need to do is get ready to meet some people at Bob Evans.  Because that's where they keep the sausage gravy and biscuits.

Good morning, all!  I am off to Toyland.

Sure enough, the money that I lost in the ATM yesterday was indeed deducted from my bank account.  We'll see if the 24-48 hours promise to refund it happens.  I am worried, though, abut that check that hasn't arrived in the post. I can't see why it should take four days to arrive from Florida.

And it's time to head downtown.

Must be depression week. I am trying to be grateful that I have a job but right now that is not how I feel at all. I am tired of being angry all the time and my arm hurts

Don't like tracks even with dance companies. I know it's costly, but it is lifeless.

I used Heimisch (as opposed to Hamlisch) in a song once.
