Well, you've read the notes, the notes returned to the valley of the normal world, and now it is time for you to post until the return of the cows come home.

Yesterday was a day of me pretty much doing nothing.  I did take a shower and go out to eat, but otherwise I only did one load of laundry.

However, I did read my physical book of "Murder at the Hollywood Division"!  After going to Taco Del Mar, I came home and starting reading.  I read the whole book and only stopped a couple of times!  HERE is my review on Amazon.

Regarding last night's posts:  Scott Bakula did do SHENANDOAH in 2006, in which he was reportedly quite excellent.

TOD:

I was 5 years old when Sesame Street first started to air on public television. I vaguely remember the hoopla about it at the time, and I believe that I did watch it then, though probably not regularly.

Good morning, all!  It's going to be a hot day today, and so I will run over to Tams-Witmark very shortly, drop off this Golden Apple score and parts, and head home ASAP. That finishes up this project.

I first met Mr Bakula around 1981 or 82; he had just returned t Manhattan after playing Domenique ("Proud Lady") in the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park production of The Baker's Wife.  He was also in Marilyn and Is There Life After High School?

And I have to catch a bus.

Hope everyone is feeling better. I haven't read any of the previous posts for the last few days (and I most likely won't). It's been very, very busy at the office and we were on LI for the Memorial Day weekend so I didn't check in at all.

Good vibes to everyone.

Monday Tuesday morning greetings!  In half an hour I will accompany Richard to a routine medical check-up that includes fasting blood work.  We'll go out for brunch afterwards.

Good morning, all.

Monday Tuesday, indeed.  It was already seeming like it would be like that yesterday, as I continually thought it felt like a Sunday.

TOD:

To this day, I've never seen an episode or a movie of SESAME STREET or MUPPETS.  These never held any interest for me.  For AVENUE Q last fall, I figured out or had explained to me a few obvious references, all of which were amusing and worth knowing, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that others are still flying right over my head.

Glad to hear that MR BK is feeling better.  Life goes on.

I have replaced Miss Fern in BAD SEED, so DR VIXMOM and DR GINNY can relax.  I am still looking for a Kenneth, but I will probably put the stage manager in for him.  He is in the first scene and the last scene, so that will work.

Tonight I am taking a few publicity photos for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in order to meet the deadlines for the weekly publications.

My sister Molly was born in 1971, so she was a Sesame Street kid....I would watch it with her now and then.....

I was not a regular viewer of the MUPPET show, so I will have to see what everyone else lists as favorite episodes.....

TOD:  My younger brother and sisters were toddlers just as Sesame Street and MisterRogers started, so I "had" to watch it while babysitting them.  I got to watch the shows from the very beginning.  The fact that I continued to watch those shows (and got other adults to watch the shows) even after I moved out of the house is of no concern here.  And then I started watching Sesame Street again when I would babysit my niece and nephews.

TOD:

I love the original Muppet Movie and the more recent one with Amy Adams joining the Muppets.

As for the TV show, which was a favorite because of the special guests (Madeline Kahn, Ethel, Liza), I was surprised at how good Garth Brooks was. He was the most natural performer with them, and he really made fun of himself and that weird Chris Gaines alter ego he had back then.

I was a little old for Sesame Street by the time we had a TV set.

I wouldn't be taking such a laid back attitude about this, DR Jrand64.  You might do well to cast these ladies as understudies.  One never knows...
