I have really bad reactions to various perfumes. Not all. But enough.

Someone in my area uses a hand sanitizer with a really pungent aroma that is not terribly pleasant but thankfully it dissipates in quick order.

Getting home was an ordeal.  Once again the MTA is scheduling buses on whim, not on the schedules posted at every bus stop.

Dan M, if anyone knows, you probably will - Do you know if the Ethel Merman commercial for Vel Dishwashing Liquid is still anywhere on YouTube?

Haven't located it. It was a Colgate-Palmolive product. But, for your viewing pleasure, here's Ethel blaring "Tomorrow" sporting a questionable hairdo, either too much Aqua-Net, or it's bed-head wig time? She was great, she was swell, but did she have her wig in a well? Who really knows? But that's what makes Ethel the Merman!

This could be the start of a drag act, or it's just a Love Boat clip with Ann Miller, Carol Channing, Ethel Merman, and Della Reese:

Yes, it really hooks you in with those crisp trumpets and Shirley Bassey singing her spleen out.

I am sitting in the condo enjoying the view of the river and sail boats going by.  I realized that once we have couches my view sitting down will be obstructed.

Morricone's ECSTACY OF GOLD can give me the chills in a good way:

I'd love to be in the chorale singing along to Ecstacy of Gold. That would be great fun!

Another Morricone good chills giver, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, as performed by 12 or 14 year old Patricia Janeckova:

(Appears to be some sort of fashion/beauty show, my apologies.)

I turned on the air conditioning.

Tomorrow is the season open house at the theatre.....wherein everyone who didn't return their season ticket order will come to buy them in person and expect to get the same seats they have always had.....or change the night they want to come and expect to get the same seats.....

I assume that third Row center orchestra seats will be available foe me whenever I pop in. And also for my 23 nearest and dearest who will pop in to some performance or another to watch me play Mrs Fern.

I did some background writing. And decided the character was definitely married but is now divorced because her husband was running around with some bright young blonde  thing which broke  up her marriage and predisposes her hatred of  poor Rhonda

Ah that explains the sudden lack of ranger shirts on all the locals.   It appeared to be mandatory  attire for the past week or so
