I did that once. When I moved to Virginia the movers INSISTED repeatedly that the truck would arrive on a given date. I had actually started to believe them. My temporary lodgings at the hotel were about up, but the apartment was ready--just vacant. I bought some pillows, a comforter, and towels and moved in. I was actually quite comfortable. My belongings arrived in a few days. It worked out fine.

I've been moving some things around. Space is at a premium here and I needed some boxes where I could get to them easily. Not so bad for someone young and agile, but for me--well, let's just say that I'm glad I managed it.

Good evening. DR Sandra and I celebrated Freedom Day today, since her job keeps her busy during the week. We ate at a fancy restaurant (there were servers) and saw the tour of Phantom of the Opera. The newly-staged version.

DR George that is crazy that the co-worker would not stop wearing it. I guess her supervisor should have said "if you show up with perfume tomorrow then don't bother coming back after lunch".
