Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a journey and continued, and now it is time for you to post until the journeying cows continue to come home.

You know what sounded good to me from the Smoke House this time?

The steak salad.

Since I'm awake I figured I would say good morning.  I never know when I will be back able to post again.  Chances are I won't stop in again today.

Good morning, all!  I wanted to be at the laundromat by 8:00 to wash my new comforter.  When that's finished, Iwill make the bed.

After my vivid memory of yesterday's dream, I have only fragmentary bits and pieces of several from last night.

I am hoping for a quiet day today: I have nothing on my calendar, and I plan to putter about the apartment and accomplish little.

I have heard from my colleague Peter, and we will meet on Wednesday evening at Toyland to remove my computer, receiver, binding machine and paper cutter. On Tuesday, I believe Joshie will come by with something to pick up his loot from yesterday.  I plan then on carting home some most of the contents left on my work table.  Then it's only ten days to the end of Toyland.

Last night I had my first - and probably last - glass of hard cider.  I love cider, but this was more like eating an apple marinated in turpentine for several years.

I've given hard cider a chance on several occasions over the years, and it never made sense.  A most unsatisfying beverage, if you ask me.  And I believe you did.

Sunday morning greetings!  Fortunately, this is not a Lima Sunday for Fr. Richard.  We usually go to Rob & Mary Linda's church on these days, but today we're staying home.  He's feeling better, but not ready to set the world on fire.

DR George, thanks for the vibes from last night for him!

Now that the comforter's in the dryers, I need some breakfast.

I've been pondering my day.  I may begin the next edit of Gentlemen, Be Seated! partly as an excuse to clean off my workspace and partly because I need to get into the score. I will spend some time today on the 3rd DVD of Season 1 MISS FISHER'S MURDER MYSTERIES.

DR Elmore, Richard saw the nurse practitioner yesterday and she put him on a diet similar to the one BK was on last weekend - bananas, rice, applesauce, tea - and she prescribed something for the nausea.  He's also been drinking Gatorade  :P

Today is our Open House to open our 54th season.  It lasts from 1-3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, numbers from 7 Brides for 7 Brothers will be performed, and tickets will be on sale.

Then we will have the June board meeting even though it is only May 31.

That's OK, DR JRand.  AAUW Middletown is having their May board meeting tomorrow evening, even though it's June 1.  They're usually on the 4th Monday of the month, but that was Memorial Day.

The laundry is done and I have to make the bed.  Then, on to the next task, taking the trash to the basement. :-\
