Thanks DR Jane and DR Jrand. I really have been fortunate. In the first few weeks of knowing I had something serious, but not knowing what, and the confusion, everything fell into place. As things settled, and I didn't wind up with the oncologist I thought, there was Dr. Kratz, whom I didn't know what to make of first. Which for me is sometimes a good thing.

There are people who appear in the path you're on and you're not sure why they are there. That was left for me to figure out and as I got to know Dr. Kratz I realized that (just like the old "Twilight Zone" episode) she was "just what I needed" (she was an Ernest Truex character in spirit). That's how my whole cancer adventure has been. People have come along who have been wonderful and sometimes I didn't understand why right away.

Chelsea Music has come and gone. I'm downloading the files I could not download to disc to Dropbox. I will very shortly head home.

Tonight I am blocking Act Two: Scene Two.....wherein:

Leroy tells Rhoda about electric chairs for little girls.
Rhoda tells Leroy she wants her shoes back.
Christine's father gets a phone call and leaves.
Rhoda gets some matches and leaves.
Mrs. Daigle visits while drunk.
Rhoda comes back with her popsicle.
Monica grabs Rhoda and escapes.
Mr. Daigle comes to get Mrs. Daigle.
Monica comes back to give Christine some vitamins and sleeping pills.
Rhoda comes in and starts to play the piano.
Much excitement outside....fire....Leroy is burned to death.
Emory and Reggie try to help.
Christine is hysterical and Monica has to take Rhoda away.
Christine is sad.

And that's all that happens in that 16 minutes of the play.

The day continues hellish: traffic is a nightmare and my 40-60 minute trip home took nearly two hours. Life isn't always glamorous and pleasant in the Big Apple.

Tomorrow, I go back to the rubble of Toylnd to turn over the photocopier to the building's super. I need to learn when Joshie's coming in for his loot. Peter will pick me up here around 7:00 tonight and we will tote out his things. He will then bring me home with the small binder and the paper cutter. Chelsea Music decided not to take the large binder which weights several tons. I cannot blame them.

Would the binder be useful to a law firm? I know that many have them. Or a library?
