On the way home I noticed a line of cars turning into Krispy Kreme causing a traffic jam in the right lane.

The closest Krispy Kreme is in Tacoma.  There are a couple of local donut places that are close...and it looks like at least one (the closer one) is open until 8:00!  I do have to work concessions for a show tonight, so I'd have to get donuts before concessioning.  I think I have time. :)

And, speaking of sticky - have a donut. For National Donut Day.

I wondered why I was offered a free one when I bought my iced tea at Dunkin Donuts today.

Where I get coffee/tea and a donut is in the outskirts of my favourite city. This is the third time I went to that place in over 10 years.

Well, something came up at the last minute and I didn't leave work in time to get some donuts from Twister Donuts.  Oh, well.  Maybe next year.

And now, I must be off.  I'm working concessions for the same "Evening of Comedy" that I for last weekend...the show where practically no one showed up.  Hopefully, the word has gotten out and more people will show up.  We'll see.

Be back later.

Well, DR George - it wouldn't be National Donut Day...  but you could buy donuts there one of the other 364 days of the year!

Good evening. It was very nice out this morning, so I headed out for a hike. My plan was to hike until my fitbit notified me that I had reached my goal, then turn back. I was planning on getting a double dose of exercise today. After a long, long, long walk, I figured out that the battery was dead.

Unfortunately, it is going to be close to 90 degrees on Sunday, and Tacoma Little Theatre does not have air conditioning.

DR George it is nice when we get proper customer service.  We are at the point where we think something nice should be given us for all the times our key cards have stopped working.  The record breaking day was 3 new cards for Keith and 2 for me.  We hope they finally fixed the problem yesterday.

Yikes!  Hopefully, YOU'LL get some better customer service soon!

So far the problem seems to have been solved.  Tomorrow I will brave the laundry room if I can get two machines.  There are 4 washing machines but one is out of order.  The room is empty noe but I am not about to do it this late.  I will get up early and hope I haven't dragged myself out of bed for nothing.

Silent vibes are as good as any DR JANE.

I hope you are having a good day as well.

Thank you.  Well, most of the granite was installed today.  For some reason the backsplash part had to wait.  Keith had to call the concractor and ask because we thought they had forgotten to do it.

We had to postpone deliverery of our belongings.  It looks like we will be in a hotel for an extra 2 weeks.  The question is do we change hotels or not.
