Can't believe the Tony awards are tomorrow already.  As far as I know, I'll be here for them.

Which gets us to a new page.

I think it's time to scare up a late breakfast.  I shall try not to frighten it too much.

I am very excited to say that my sister, Martha Forsyth Haut, has published her first novel.   It's called Left (or as Amazon says LEFT;LEFT.   This is DR Jon's mom.  I read an earlier draft and it truly is a wonderful book full of rich characters.  It's set in Southwest Missouri during the Civil War.  I loved her writing style and her characters are so real. It's a fast read and I really hope you'll give it a go.   Anyway, it's Kindle only right now, but she's going to have it book form this fall.

Tonight I'm off to see a band performance performing songs by The Troggs. Anyone heard of them?

I'm up after almost eight hours of sleep, and David Wechter should be here in about twenty-five minutes.

I guess once you're on the lot it's okay to eat at the commissary, although I don't know that I would have attempted it if Adryan hadn't led the way.

Just got back from a delightful visit with Larry. We chatted and laughed and left with goodies from Toyland.

Toyland, RIP.

Was away from computer yesterday. My friends visited because it is their son's birthday (celebrated Thurs, and also yesterday) and they also wanted to see me before my surgery on the 16th.

My friends left this morning. They have to get back to the lambs, chickens, dogs, canaries, Mommy the Cat and my DC Minny the Cat.

I am in the hotel laundry home.  The machines are clean and there is a comfortable chair to sit in.

Jane, will you eventually get your own washer and dryer in your condo, or will you always do laundry in the hotel laundry home?

BK's morning at Disney sounds like a perfect one all around.  I share that nervous anticipation for each new Pixar, so it's great to have such a positive recommendation for INSIDE OUT.

Agreed!  Now, I really can't wait to see it!

Fahrenheit 451
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Heaven Can Wait

These are the only movies that I've seen her in.

Our movie collection:

-Mrs. Browns Boys
-Anne of Green Gables
-Alfred Hitchcock Series
-Lincoln
-Monty Python: The Holy Grail (I do not recommend this due to it's use of profanity and is not suited for younger children)
-Bad Grandpa

And some Land Rover guide from the eighties......

And I am home from Toyland and the book signing.  My friend Don stopped in and pulled more things for Chelsea Music.  He'll be in on Tuesday, as will Joshie, to remove the items.

It was good to see DR Ben and Anthony as well. It was a visit full of gossip and laughs.

There is an office down the hall from mine that is moving to another floor.  On my way out, I passed one of the people working there and asked if they wanted anything I was pitching.  He went off to check with a lady also moving things from the office. They came back and took three of my large industrial shelves.  I told them they were welcome to more and if they wanted anything to stop by on Tuesday morning.

The book signing was also a wine tasting: I had a glass of red pinot and some white chardonnay.  It was great to see the loverly Fionnuala and Raymond, who signed a book for me. My three-(or is it four now?)time Grammy winning producer Judy and her husband Curt were there, and I told Judy I might be dragging her into more mischief soon.

Then, I came home, and I am starving.

Me: I'm in a tornado watch tonight
Mom: and I have diarrhea.

Maybe TMI but the response totally cracked me up.
