I am blocking the last scene of the play this evening....shouldn't take too long.  Of course, one of the actors has a conflict and cannot be there....

Sorry

Thank you, DRs George and JRand.  The numbness is about gone, and the only pain I have is where the Novocain was injected.

Amazing how that shot pain can last for days.

MAJOR CRIMES returns tonight! This makes my summer.

We watched it at 6:00 tonight as shows here (as in our hotel) come on at strange times.  We went for a walk, returned and it was on again at 8:00.

It was a frustrating day at work for no good reason except that other people have no sense of courtesy  or common sense for that matter

Watching a strange movie called Don't Play Us Cheap, a musical written and filmed by Melvin Van Peebles back in 1972. It's a film version of his stage show with Esther Rolle, Mabel King and Avon Long and the music is wonderful, but it's all a little too special.

The plot has to do with two servants of Satan who drop in on a Harlem party one Saturday night. The younger one falls for a sweet young thing, and the party goes on. Singing, dancing, etc. I think the whole thing was filmed live, none of the singing seems to be synced.

Sounds almost like a variation of CABIN IN THE SKY, which is an overlooked movie musical.

Feel better, Cillaliz. When I get a tummy ache, I lie on my stomach. That seems to help. With a heating pad.

Vibes to heal your stomach. I am all too familiar with that problem when I find that something I've eaten has something I'm allergic to, even when (supposedly) all is disclosed on the label.

I have the soundtrack on vinyl, but I've never listened to it.  It's actually billed as "The Original Cast & Soundtrack Album."

I'm sure he would be willing to record this so that I can make a CD from it.  I don't even know how good the vinyl is, though.

I have the equipment to do that myself, but none of it's hooked up to my computer and I have no room to set it all up, anyway.
