DR George, thank you for the offer.  I will let you know if our DVR didn't record all of The Last Ship.  I expect that it did.

we had a severe thunderstorm warning at 5:45, so I just got up.  It went north of us

It sure did! That last jolt of thunder just now really made me jump.

DR Cilla your reaction is perfectly normal and with time should improve.  Vibes that happens sooner than later!

It is supposed to be daytime here, but the color of the sky is a menacing dark yellow. It almost looks like night time.

I fed Nicky an early breakfast, he caught a moth for dessert, and now he is ready for bed.

In a way, I am glad that DD Zach is no longer with us. He'd be a basket case right now.

DR TCB - does Nicky stay up with you when you can't sleep, or does he just zonk out on his own schedule?

No ball game tonight?

They are playing the St Paul Saints in St Paul.   St. Paul leads the entire association and the Xs are in second (we lead our division) so it should be a really good series

No he usually gets up with me.  I think it is more a hope for some kitty cookies rather than concern for me.

I generally read my Kindle in bed prior to falling asleep. It can sometimes be a challenge to find the darned thing in the morning.

DR TCB - I will be following SCOTUSblog this morning if I don't have a customer. They typically live-blog starting a half hour before the decisions are handed down.
