40% AND RISING
« on: June 22, 2015, 12:25:29 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had 40% and have risen, and now it is time for you to post until the 40% and rising cows come home.

Everything is still out.

Verizon is supposed to be at the apartment between 9-12 noon. I even got an e-mail sent last night confirming the appointment. Of course, since I have no Internet I couldn't see it until this morning when I got to the office. Anthony is at the apartment and I hope things will be resolved by lunchtime.

And now back to work.

Things are very hectic. We move in less than a month and there is much work to be done before then.

Good morning, all.

Following a series of idiotic annoying dreams.  Part of one was kind of interesting, in which I created a certain "look" to parts of downtown Chicago that a couple of friends and I were being driven through.  Go figure.

Coffee!

Thank you SongDude for acknowledging the work of Cilla, John, and me last evening.  Some evenings are harder than others.

I would take myself out to breakfast, but I had Vicodin in the last 8 hours, so that is something I won't do.

So, instead, I put on a hairnet and served myself a cup of joe!

Good morning.  I didn't sleep well. I kept waking with a start thinking I was hearing a bat. That hasn't happened for a few nights, so I am most disappointed it happened again.  Then we had a severe thunderstorm warning at 5:45, so I just got up.  It went north of us, but the weather radio kept going off, so no point in trying to sleep

Do you think maybe you were hearing some distant thunder, and your mind turned it into a bat sound?

It's hard telling what I heard, it could have been a bat trying to get in outside or in the wall, it could have been something else outside, it could have been one of the cats doing something, I don't know. It could have been the news paper hitting the house.  Who knows...it could have been almost anything

I was thinking about it before I went to bed, so that may have had something to do with it
