My sister was on Romper Room. Her teacher was the one who was fired for having an abortion after taking thalidomide.

That's terrible.

It is nice that this hoel has real glass instead of plastic, however, I would appreciate if they were replaced when the dirty ones are removed.  I had to make another trip to the desk.  I am sure I am getting a bad reputation.

I hadn't heard of that case, but I agree.  And concur.  But I've got to wonder ... who in the HELL was making a tape?

The patient turned on his tape recorder so he would be able to have a recording of his doctor's instructions when he came to and was too drugged up to remember what he was supposed to do. What he got was a lot more than he anticipated, including a case of hemorrhoids, which they decided to add to his chart, as a joke.

I wanted to be on Romper Room or Betty Lou and the Magic Window or Captain Kid's Corner.  But I lived in a little town where we could only see them on TV

Finished From Here to Eternity. Some sloppy storytelling. There were far too many characters to keep track of. It didn't help any that the actors who played the characters originally played by Montgomery Clift and Frank Sinatra looked far too much alike.

Need to have another productive day tomorrow.  Today was pretty good, got several things done I've been putting off.  My list is getting shorter, which is a good thing.  It was way too long

Think I'll go to bed.  I was hoping to go out and look for the northern lights, but I'm reading that we can't see them this far south tonight.   It's cloudy anyway.
