On Wednesday night at rehearsal, I had taken my starter pistol (a .22 with a closed barrel) for the actress to use in her final scene.  I didn't have any blanks with me or in the pistol.

After rehearsal, I thought she put it back in its box on the table.  When everyone was gone, I picked up the box to take the gun back home - and the box was empty.  I looked around a bit, but I didn't see it.

I messaged her when I got home, she said she had put it on the prop table with the glasses and bottles.  The prop table is behind all the furniture we have to move back against the wall after every rehearsal.

The next day - after the middle school group theatre workshop....the gun was missing.....it's gone.  Some kid took it....  We looked all over last night.  GONE.

So we have a mystery.  I would say it is my fault for not MAKING her hand me the pistol when she was done with it. Nobody can be hurt with it, unless they steal some .22 blanks and it misfires - which it will do if it's not cleaned properly after being used.

So....there you are....brats.  We had been missing books of matches as well, but I figured some high school smoker had taken them, and I put them in a new place.

Supreme Court rules against gay marriage bans.

It's legal, y'all.

I'm up after about two hours of sleep.  Must try for another two or I will not be functioning.  Too hot in the house, so cooling it down now.

Nice comment from an official in San Antonio in a HuffPo article:

However, officials in red states told The Huffington Post recently that they are prepared to implement the decision, going so far as to ready gender-neutral marriage licenses and set later office hours. Gerard Rickhoff, who oversees marriage licenses in Bexar County, Texas, said that if same-sex couples are discriminated against elsewhere in the state, "Just get in your car and come on down the highway. You'll be embraced here."

Good morning.

I'm sorry to hear the sad news, Elmore. I hope there was no foul play involved.

Comcast and tv/sound installation vibes for DR JANE.

Thank you.  For the moment we have a connection.  The carpet guy is here and so far seems to be installing the carpet without unplugging the little box that keeps us connected.

Keith sure can use some toe vibes.  Twice before we moved he had something removed and twice it returned.  He picked a podiatrist off of the internet and we went to her yesterday.  We liked her very much and she removed it again, and sent it out again for a biopsy.

One local doctor found, a few more to go.

Thank you.  He seems to be moving better today but then we are just hanging out in the condo.  He says it doesn't hurt as bad as it did yesterday.

The contractor is installing the vent hood.  The carpet guy continues to install the carpets.  The tv guys are doing there thing and the Culligan people are on their way to install a water softener.

In total there will be 8 workers at once.

Boy, two bad Supreme Court decisions for John Boehner, Justice Scalia, and their scumbag cronies.  Anything that puts their panties in a bunch just perks me right up.
