I am very glad that I spent yesterday with the family.  I wouldn't have wanted to today

As I was going to the store, the parking lot was jammed.  So, I was waiting for someone who was about to back out.  This guy suddenly started backing right into me.   I started honking at him and he didn't stop, luckily the car in front of me moved and I was able to get out of his way.  I was REALLY mad.  I got out and yelled at him to watch where he was driving.  He said "Why didn't you wait for me"   He wasn't even in the car when I started waiting for the other car.  Seriously this guy was very close to hitting me.   I decided right then and there I was going home for the day

You should've handed him a business card and said next time you would wait, and that you'd see him in court!

He doesn't need to know that you're not that kind of lawyer, but it certainly would make him think about how he drives.

I was hoping to be able to stay home all day, but my parents were given a free air conditioner.  I said that I would go over to help put it in my dad's library (my old bedroom).  I don't think that they were given instructions though, so I hope that I can find some on-line.  I also hope that it's easy to install.  I've never done this before.  Wish me luck!

Did a two and a half mile jog and will now relax until party time.  Noisy, stupid neighbors have apparently, after insuring that no one could ever go back to sleep, have left the premises.  These people.

Just finishing up Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue. A little better than some of the other sequels, but nowhere near the fun of the original. And they're all in the same format, same type of song in each slot. Meh. I could work during it and not miss a thing.

Richard and I spent about an hour with Mom, then did a major grocery shopping.  We've had our holiday dinner of fried chicken and potato salad (both store-bought) and now we're looking forward to the patriotic concerts on TV.  Party animals, that's us!

Vixdad and I went to see the new Terminator movie. I had  "re admission " tickets  I had been given on a previous visit  but they didn't cover the IMAX 3D so we had to pay an additional $13

Ghidrah is on now, I am waiting for the Peanuts to appear.  Some fireworks are already happening....later I may sit on the front porch and watch the town fireworks over the treetops....they are about a mile away....and we can always see the ones the fly HIGH.

About midway through the movie there was this pound pounding noise which we thought kind of odd and distracting as it continued  through the non action scenes.  And then throughout the credits   And then the movie ended completely and the pounding continued.

So we decided to report it to the manager as something was obviously wrong with the sound system

She thanked us for reporting it and  gave us 2 passes good for a 3D IMAX movie in the future. We told her it wasn,t necessary we just wanted to alert them  but she said it gave them an opportunity to fix it and save them from giving out s whole theatre full of passes in the future

Vixdad insists on putting catsup on his hotdogs when everyone knows that they must be eaten with Gulden's  brown mustard and sauerkraut

The first few performers on PBS' Capital Fourth almost drove us away, but we stuck with it and it eventually settled into our demographic.

I prefer ketchup, relish, and chopped onions on my hotdogs. :)

I'm back from installing a portable, roll-away air conditioner in my dad's library.  It took a little bit of figuring out, but I was actually able to find the manual on-line.  Anyway, it all works and hopefully will work for a long time.

After the PBS show ended, we switched to NBC for the fireworks from NYC.  Spectacular!

I moved my downstairs DVR upstairs so that I can watch, and more impotantly delete, what's on that DVR.

That DVR is 93% filled!  I need to get rid of some of the programs on it.
