My friend in Arizona called, so I had to turn off the A/C, but then he talked for an hour and a half.  He talked, I listened.

They said it may be near the end of the week before we ditch these 90 degree days.

The longer this heat wave goes on, the less housework I get done.

My friend asked what was on my schedule for the week,  and I drew a blank.

I did remember that I had to choose the spot for Wednesday Old Actor's Lunch, or I won't be going to that either.

They just said on the news that only one out of six people in Seattle have central air conditioning.

I know!  I was going to do laundry at some point this weekend, but I don't want to deal with any heat from the dryer. :P

The air vent in our new bedroom is above our heads.  Keith needs to turn my side away from me.  I expect George & TCBwould prefer my promblem vs no air in this heat.

Back from a terrific show with only one horrendous screw-up when our musical director neglected to make the key change at the end of Old Souls - the poor singer was thrown under the bus, but she just kept going, pro that she is.  The pianist did finally end the song in the proper key.  It was shocking because he wrote out the ending himself so he could read it, with chord notations, so I'm not sure how it could even happen.  Otherwise, he got through the rest of the show fine and our cast was great.

Yikes!  But at least it only happened once and will probably NEVER happen again...at least, from this accompanist. :D
