The really annoying part is that Monday I was out of the office at a normal time and yesterday I was out by 7:30 ( which seems early after all the late nights I have been putting in). And instead of getting to get things done around home I am falling asleep

Good morning, all! I wish I were still in bed.

This is another day in special collections at the Columbia library. I'll first look over the full score of "Fare You Well" with my new sketch for the verses and verify that the bar count is good, then I'll finish up the next number, "The Dome," call it quits on Flatbox 243, request orchestra parts for Friday, and head home. I'll be at Rockefeller Center tomorrow seeing my barber.

I have nothing else to report. The doldrums continue.

Well there was MUCH rain yesterday afternoon......I didn't get very far in my trek to the theatre. I was turned back by the police about two miles east of Stilesville.

Rehearsal was fine last night with a couple of technical glitches that had NEVER happened. When I spoke to the technical director I was told: "Don't worry about it, these things happen."

I said why? What caused them?

"We don't know....that's just the way it is....."

No......do your job....check the microphones....make sure you have the right music cue loaded...and don't forget to play it.....and follow your script if you're doing the light cues....don't guess when you think the scene is over.....sometimes the actors have SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

And now we're all wet.

The Putnam County Foundation photographer was there at six o'clock and took a lot of backstage photos and photos in the tech area....and in the theatre. Then he stayed and took photos of the entire show! I thought he would leave at intermission, but he was having a good time, so instead he set up his tripod and took more pictures....and stayed afterwards to take even more....

I hope they are posted somewhere so we can see them.
