Cilla do any of your friends have a key to your house in case you need help and can't get up easily?

Well, I must be off.  Tonight, I'm going to a staged reading of a book written by a local author.

Well, the reading went really well.

There was probably enough room to seat 50 or so people and the meeting room was fairly full.

It wasn't a regular reading like BK has done, where the author reads selected passages.

There were two readers, my friends Carv and Amanda (they're married to each other, too), and they read what Carv said was the secod chapter, but he adpted it to be an acting scene with the narration split between them, in addition to acting the characters.

I had the fried rice with tofu.  It was a little bland (or some might say "subtle"), but otherwise pretty good.

We then went to Fred Meyer because my sister needed to get some toppings for an ice cream social that the Olympia chapter of PFLAG is putting on on Sunday.  My sister and niece are on their board.
