A LITTLE TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE
« on: July 12, 2015, 01:33:07 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes took a little trip down memory lane, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently taking a little trip down MOOmory lane.

Yes, that is the corner of my front yard.  The water is receding....like my hairline....but it got closer to my house than it ever has.

People down and across the street had water in their homes......

Your memory is pretty amazing! I'll bet you're sorry you didn't start keeping a movie log or diary from age 6 on - wouldn't that be fun to have now!

TOD:  As I've noted before, the theatre where I saw "First Nudie Musical" on its NY opening day became a Children's Place clothing store.

Good morning, all.

A day off from going places, I believe, but there are plenty of things to accomplish right here on the home front.

Great notes and reminiscences, BK.  A favorite subject of mine, one that can -- and does -- suck up hours.

Silly question -- I mean, I could ask a million of them -- but did CLOSE ENCOUNTERS also play at the Paramount?  I clearly remember POLTERGEIST there, but I also associate seeing the first run of C.E. there, and not at the Dome.

Good morning, all! I will work here at home until noon, then head down to 58th Street to have coffee with a singer who's asked me to do some orchestration for a recording in October.  We've never met face-to-face; our interaction has been only on phone and email, so I'm looking forward to it.

It's time to turn on the AC and make the bed.

Last night I finished CRANFORD, cried like a baby, then began the BBC's Christmas sequel RETURN TO CRANFORD.  I'll finish it tonight.  Judi Dench has become my all-time favorite actress.
