I am sort of E&T (although, frankly - and georgely - I don't think it should be necessary to explain why we are E&T - this isn't school - it's something we do because we enjoy it, not because it mandatory. Why don't we just assume that if someone isn't posting he or she has a good reason. Even if that reason is that they are not in a posting mood.) - That being said (I'm sure I'll get a tongue-lashing, but I'm a big girl, I can take it) - as I was saying, that being said, I am sort of E&T because I'm having a weird weird day, having to clear out of my home environment every half hour or so while it's being shown. I've put on music (Jobim) and made the place as inviting as possible so that it will be rented TODAY and I can go on with my life. I haven't even showered yet. I don't want to be in the shower as a would-be tenant is walking through...

Since you're sure you'll get a tongue-lashing, here it is:

"I don't think it should be necessary to explain why we are E&T - this isn't school - it's something we do because we enjoy it, not because it mandatory. Why don't we just assume that if someone isn't posting he or she has a good reason. Even if that reason is that they are not in a posting mood.)"

a) who asked you to explain anything?
b) who said it was school?
c) if, by now, you don't know to take my (or anyone's) errant and truant posts in the spirit in which they are intended - COMEDICALLY - then perhaps you should oil your humor gears which clearly have rusted beyond repair (especially in regards to today's post, which was so blatantly blatant in terms of its intent).
d) I find your "it's something we do because we enjoy it, not because it's mandatory" condescending.  This isn't school.
e) if you're not in a posting mood then don't post.  Seems simple to me.

Asked for tongue lashing is now finished.

Now, where in tarnation IS everyone?

I absolutely agree.

Good renting vibes!

Darling Jane, you would never get a tongue-lashing because you would never make a post like the one I responded to.  I treasure having you here because you are one of the most positive people I know (and I've known you for YEARS).

You see, it just happened when Panni was taking a shower and some fruit just walked in and said:

"My, I do like your pineapples!"

She did not think it was peachy and just went bananas!

 ??? ??? ???

This morning I went to a very odd funeral for the neighbor on the corner. He was obviously not a religious man, as the music was a song by Elvis, a song called "My Dog Thinks I'm Elvis" and the closing song was "Happy Trails To You."

After that, I did some fascinating church paperwork. Then I went to the local park to get some photo slides for the prelude at church tomorrow. While there, I saw a bighorn mountain sheep, a jackrabbit, and a roadrunner.

Didn't I have an exciting day?

She wanted it, she expected it, and she GOT it.  I rest my case.

Laura, I always enjoy hearing about your days, and I'm happy you got your traveling privileges back.

And frankly, Francois, I found your client's post offensive, pedantic, condescending and like she was giving a lecture no one asked for or needed.  NOW I rest my case.

No, I don't feel like resting my case now.  My case has been getting way too much rest and my case needs exercise so it can have abs and buns of steel.

I have a hard time accepting things like tomatos, eggplant and okra as fruits.  Afterall, there never was eggplant flavored Kool-Aid, was there?  I don't remember there being a stick of okra in Beechnut's Fruit Stripe Gum.  And there definately are no tomato Froot Loops!

Finishing up That's Entertainment III, then will watch the extras disc.  The sun sort of came out in the shank of the afternoon.  I actually had to turn the heat on in the home environment today.  But now I shall turn the heat off.  Unless someone lectures again.

Thank you, BK.

Now that my traveling privileges are restored, are you going to be doing "What If?" in November?

I love sitting in my kitchen, typing away on the laptop whilst looking out at the lush greenery of the front yard.  It makes me happy.
