VIXMOM, I didn't think you were being snarky at all.  I suggested it because we found that the assisted living and nursing homes are so expensive that we could pay someone to live in  and it would be a lot less expensive, not to mention the fact that you get to stay at home instead of moving to a facility, no matter how nice they are.   My parents aren't to that point yet, but my mom said if she can't climb the stairs, she'll crawl.  She doesn't like the idea of a live in or leaving, hopefully we won't have to address that issue too soon

Depending on how things are, there are also lots of services that will come in during the day but not live in.  I think some of those are fairly reasonable, don't know if insurance covers them.  I guess it all depends on what is needed for care

Sunday evening greetings!  Our household was up early this morning and the 4 of us went to DN Lauren's church for her son's baptism.  Rob and Mary Linda are his godparents, as Richard and I were for Lauren.  There was a lovely potluck luncheon afterwards and I slept for a couple of hours when we got home.

I'm recovering, but it's slower than I had anticipated. So, today I had my second outing and went to the office.  Nothing earth shattering there, but I boxed up some files and put them on my cart and took them to the car.  I was careful to take them out of the box so I wasn't lifting too much.   Then I put a note on the door and recorded a message that I'm going to be working at home this week.   I left a way to get me a message and left.

Fascinating, Druxy, reading the history of a book written forty years ago that you found rummaging in your storage unit.  More interesting is, even though it was already written, you say you updated it - but didn't talk to me - I was on a TV series called Dinah and Her New Best Friends, you know.  She adored me, you know.

I have a short hearing tomorrow at 1:00 PM and another Wednesday morning, but I really am going to try to stay home the rest of the time.  There are a number of things I can do here and if I don't do them, well then I don't.  Recovering is the most important at this point

I've just been laying in bed - I think I slept another hour so maybe I got four hours of sleep.

I have the only copy of an autobiography written by Mr. Albert Glasser - it's eight hundred manuscript pages long, is extremely repetitive and in need of editing - perhaps I'll do that and issue it.

I have actually been thinking about starting a little publishing arm of Kritzerland, if you must know what I have actually been thinking.

Why bite your tongue?    Inquiring minds want to know what's on your mind.

Interesting that Lebron James has made such a strong critical impression in his screen debut in Trainwreck

There's an interesting PBS documentary on Margaret Mitchell at the moment.
