I have been watching videos online of color-blind folks trying on EnChroma corrective glasses for the first time. I have no idea how good they are, but it is entertaining. I myself don't have a problem with color-blindness, but my DH does.
The glasses are pricey, however.

I didn't fall back to sleep.  Since the alarm is set for 7:00 I might as well get up.  I have much to do this morning.

I also found the JERSEY BOYS movie adequate, but not nearly as good as the show is on stage.

Just a few weeks ago, I discovered a new one that was made a couple years ago, "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story". Usually, these movies are terrible - full of really bad wigs and worse acting - but this one was unusually good. Even Mark, who is extra critical, agreed that the actresses seemed "genuine". Or at least their hair looked real.

TCB are your eyes all fphealed? How is your vision?

My eyesight may continue to improve slightly over  the next few days, but I doubt I will even notice.  My distance vision is wonderful.  Very sharp and clear.  I can no longer read books, menus, or legal contracts without wearing my cheaters.  I wish I had the extra $3000.00 sitting around the house to correct my total vision, but that is only because I am vain and lazy.  As long as I remember my cheaters, I am quite fine.

Thanks again to everyone for the good wishes during this entire process.

I received my copy of the play, WHOSE LIFE IS IT ANYWAY?, a copy of the film with Richard Dreyfuss, and a book regarding the backstage process on the original production (either London or Broadway).  I will probably wait until this weekend to read the play.

DR Jrand, did you not see yourself in the leading role?  I thought the likeness was striking.

DR Jane:  Would "abode" work in place of "house", "condo" and "apartment"?  It's non-judgmental and gives no one any idea what type of habitat you have.

Think "abode" it!

DR Jrand:  I hope you're not disappointed in your casting.

"Leads" can be so demanding and time-consuming.

That's incredible, DR Jrand64.  Congratulations!

They did the play last season at "my" theater, running through December and extending into January thanks to a continuing sellout and the fortunate availability of actors and crew, and it was one of the most successful runs in their history.  (Apparently, the conventional wisdom is that anything involving Sherlock Holmes will sell, period -- but throw Gillette and his castle into it here in Connecticut, and you couldn't lose if you tried.)

Enjoy!  And make sure there's plenty of videographic evidence.

TCB, I didn't know that close vision, being a whole different issue, could be corrected at all through any kind of surgery.
