Now that I can lift things, I really need to do the laundry this weekend.  I told my mom I can lift the laundry basket now and she said "Oh, that's too bad,"  LOL gotta love her

My friend Margo would be happy at this.  She LOVES doing laundry. :D

I jogged around three o'clock - I can't tell you how close I came to continuing down to Ventura Blvd. and then down to where the footbridge is to get back here.  Thankfully I didn't as there was a shooting on Ventura near Laurel Canyon - not much known - a homeless person perhaps in front of the Union Bank next to Chipotle firing shots in the air.  Police arrived, he wouldn't lower or drop his weapon and they took him out.  Lots of helicopters now (all news ASSES I'm sure) and Ventura is closed to Laurelgrove (the street to the east of me) and Laurel Canyon is closed up to Moorpark.  Since I take Moorpark to the freeway I'll have to see if there are problems there - there shouldn't be when I leave in about forty minutes.

And now, I'm off.  My sister is hosting a garage sale for the Olympia PFLAG and I'm bringing some stuff to donate.  But I have to go home first and get it, then I'll go over there.  Then, I'll come home and have the rest of the evening and possibly tomorrow all to myself.

Be back later.

DR Jane, thrilled for the good news from DS Craig.
DITTO!!

Thank you and congratulations on the excellent visit to the surgeon.  I think it is great your surgeon removed your appendix while he was in there, one less thing to worry about.

I am so glad that things are going well for Cilla. Except for the noise issue. I am shocked someone would post your address that is ridiculous.

I'm glad I was able to delete it. Today I messaged he tv station that had the story posted with all the comments on Facebook and told them about the cyberbullying and the posting of my address.  They asked the name and I gave it to them and they will be watching for his posts.  Hopefully they will cut back on the cyber bullying

Nice of the tv station.  Of course if that person bullies you again they have more to write about ;)

The back splash is completed on our main kitchen wall.  It still needs finishing and we aren't to touch the vent hood.  It looks great and such a delight not to be looking at drywall.
