Good morning. Thanks for all the vibes for my mother-in-law. I heard from my DH day before yesterday. She had a bad day that day.

As mentioned in today's notes, I think "Raccoon Wranglers" would be a great business name.

Here's a prayer that she has a much better day today.

I don't want to complain, because we've had a great summer do far, but this 100+ degree weather is wilting me.

Apparently The Raccoons are using the roof as their loo.  Nice.  There's no way for them to get into the attic, so that's good.  They're removing all that poo from the loo and then will treat the roof with some stuff they won't like.  He said, interestingly, that it's rare for them to be in a pack like that and that they see that happen when someone in the neighborhood is feeding them.  If it's true, I'd best not find out who that is.

The porto-potties have arrived at the Annette house - that does not bode well for the future and I suspect the house will be gone in a week.  I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't know who would buy a house and let it sit for a year, other than a developer looking to tear down and build and make a quick turnaround profit.

Raccoons, eh!

I'm guessing that's better than those "flying dead things" at your previous abode.

I think I have finally found the full color Li'l Abner window card from Broadway.  A couple have come up over the last few years and I couldn't get anywhere near them thanks to a couple of nut jobs who didn't care how much money they spent - I believe those nut jobs are speculators and trying to create a market where none exists.  In any case, this won't actually cost any cash if we work out our little deal.  It's not the full original cast on this poster - Edie Adams and Charlotte Rae had already moved on, but since I love Billie Hayes, I actually like that she's on the poster.

And here it is:

Congrats, Fred! :D
