Thank goodness our posts don't have to pass any kind of quality standard.

I am purposely not following the dentist-lion killer story very closely, but from the bits and pieces that I have heard, it is looking worse and worse for him.

Ditto and ditto. :-\

The insomnia may have been brought on by the bad news I received yesterday regarding a long-time theater friend.

I'm so sorry, Tom.

Great news on At Long Last Love, George, though I treasure the homemade CD you shared with me. Wonder if this version will have Tomorrow andDown in the Depths.

I hope so, too!  We'll eventually find out...at least, it's being released next month and not next year.

The porto-potties have arrived at the Annette house - that does not bode well for the future and I suspect the house will be gone in a week.  I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't know who would buy a house and let it sit for a year, other than a developer looking to tear down and build and make a quick turnaround profit.

It probably took a year to get the building permit for the new house.

After lunch I went to Central Pastry to replace the items I'd bought for Mom on Monday (we ate those, knowing they'd be stale by today) and visited her unannounced.  She was OK, which I expected because if something acute happens the nurse calls me.  Don't know what was going on the other day.

I stopped at the grocery and got home just ahead of a doozy of a thunderstorm.

An excellent addiction to have.

My boss had a raccoon get in his house by way of the chimney. A co-worker created a Facebook page for Johnny the Raccoon and posts are still made in his honor.

I wish that Joshie could throw some of that work your way, DR elmore3003.

DR slingshot, I have survived most of last year and this year on the work he and Rob Berman have thrown my way, and i am enormously grateful.  I wish some others would call!

Please keep them vibes coming!

I also find myself re-watching "The Golden Girls" for an hour or so each night.  Never get tired of 'em.

It's another warm day in Oakland, but the good news is the return of the Marine Layer (i.e., "fog") to the coast.  After today, things should start getting back to normal.

What is normal?

Well, Oscar Wilde once quipped that the coldest winter he ever spent was a July in San Francisco.
