Good morning, all.

Thanks, Ben, for posting the link to the Dr. Seuss story.

There's even the inevitable mash-up of the new Dr. Seuss book and the revisionist Atticus Finch in the new To Kill a Mockingbird book:

(tune of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”)

You’re a gold mine, Mr. Finch
Your success can never fade
They’ll be rich from all the interest
Once the devil has been paid
Mr. Finch
In that dark little bank vault
Is that where you should have stayed?

The first several weeks we walked the Renaissance Trail here I kept yelling at the bikers to ring a bell.  I have given up since I kept embarrassing Keith-lol.  He is very sweet though as he keeps me on the edge of the path and walks the inside so he will be hit first.

Do bikers even have bells? I don't have one, but i suppose it could be useful.

There's going to be a Latino-themed remake of the series ONE DAY AT A TIME?

My favorite internet title for a Seuss-Harper Lee crossover was "Go Pet a Watchdog."

And Udana Powers

For musical theater fans she was Melanie in the musical Gone With The Wind that never made it to Broadway

Today is our August board meeting - and INTO THE WOODS opens on Thursday.  I don't have rehearsal until Wednesday, so I am still working on my lines.

I think I will do the lobby display case today so that will be DONE.

I don't mean this as a political issue but as a musical theatre issue -

Interesting (I think so anyway) that the political debate will be on the same night as the HAMILTON opening:

I had a lot of weird dreams, the weirdest being one with Annalene Beechey, Brent Barrett, BK, Judy Sherman, some Irish boy, and I waiting for a plane and discussing a recording.  Annalene, Brent, and the Irish boy were in WEST SIDE SATORY somewhere.

I guess bk didn't finish The Island of Dr. Moreau last evening.

I would like to see the Simon Wiesenthal documentary; he's one of my heroes.
