For lunch today, I had mac and cheese.  It was called "the Gilroy" (named after the town of Gilroy, garlic capital of America, I believe).

We have passed Gilroy many times when traveling to L.A. and back.

Today I took the most horrid driver's license ever.  On the upside, at least I'm now official.  We can't register our car in Washington without a Washington license.  I don't believe we have got to do that first before, insurance yes but no one cared where our license was.

Rain on the way again.  Temps down to the 70's in much of the area.

I'm so sick of having trouble getting online---ever since I contacted Cox cable about not being able to get on HHW--the rep had me plug the cord directly from the modem to the laptop (eliminating the router).  I couldn't get on tonight at all.  I'm using my phone for a hotspot.

I will be very scarce the next three days, Friday-Sunday.  I'm going back up to "Capitolfest" in Rome, NY, which I first attended a couple of years ago.  It's a unique way to spend a summer weekend -- for the most part, being inside of a 1928 movie palace that's well care for and partially restored, watching films exclusively of the 1920s and 1930s.  But the theater and the projection (note to BK: carbon arc) are incredible, and you really get into the groove of films of that period, and most of them are new discoveries.  Almost everything is 35mm, on loan from studios, collectors, and the Library of Congress.  It's a real getaway into another world.

Ron. I was at the market tonight and I saw for the first time the new tater chip flavors.  I did not buy the Greek gyro one because I am not a fan Olof real gyros

I left home about 12:30, made several stops, and found my hotel with no problem.  Dropped my stuff in my room and made my way to the convention center.  The colored pencil class was OK, but not meaty enough to last the 3 hours scheduled.  I picked up some dinner and am now in for the night.

Well, it's been a day.  My aunt is still in the hospital, will have to stay over tonigh, and might have to stay over tomorrow night.  My mom and sister and I went to lunch together and then visited my aunt for a couple of hours.  She's in very good spirits, so that's good.

After the visit, I got some gas for my car, and then got a hair cut...not at the same place, though. ;)

Well, DR Jane, I took today's class to improve my technique for filling in coloring books, so I must not be that busy  ;)
