Glad to hear that Vixmom took herself to a nice restaurant dinner. No cooking!

The beginning is not very good, either.

Congratulations, George, on a full house.

Thanks, John!  They also seem to be enjoying it more than last night's audience, too.

Tom, eat more veggies. You can skip the squash. They'll help to alkalinize you. (More alkaline, less pain.)

I had a roll with cucumber, seaweed and rice that was really simple and yet really wonderful. Also what was essentially guacamole, but called avocado with crabmeat. And then fried smelts -- sooooooooooo wonderful. But definitely an acquired taste.

It's been a John Barry day and I've been listening to Richard Rodney Bennett singing Harold Arlen. To add to that eclectic mix, I also was listening to The Naked Gun music by Ira Newborn.

Then, I found "My Dream Is Yours" on the internet and have been alternating between that and "Murder on the Orient Express" as well as some Looney Tunes.

Summing all this up sounds looney tunes as I'm all over the map!

There are really only two foods I don't really like: cheesecake and yogurt. Of course, this all depends on the food being properly cooked or prepared.

My mother used to destroy squash. She'd cook it for hours and hours until it dissolved into this mush.

I always swore she bought a steamer the day after I left for college.

I still feel slightly queasy if somebody says they're serving squash, but most of the time they know how to prepare it.

I saw a Williams-Sonoma ad the other day for air fryers. I love the concept, but they were saying you can use them to make kale crisps. kale crisps? Does anyone eat kale crisps? I've never even heard of them.

I don't like baked cream cheese, I guess. Something about the texture and the way it feels like rocks when it hits my stomach. Heavy and unappealing.

Trendy crap. More like a garnish than a real food.

Squash can be tasty. I do think it requires a bit more skill than some other foods, though.

I feel quite sure that Mr BK does not eat kale crisps.

I suspect he'd say, "What the hell is this?" and toss it aside.

Great to have looney tunes throughout a day like today. I thought they let the looney bin go free and all provide work for me.

I can't decide which was worse. Having to write up a "new" partner of the company who has actually been a partner since 1996 or finishing a request in which 40 percent of the project has not been turned in for me to work on.
