Jane, I think you need to invest in an inexpensive little flask...then you'll never have to resort to begging for booze again.

;)

Chuckling away here.  I didn't need to beg as I had more than enough wine tonight.

I had a very nice time and my almond macaroons were a big hit.  I wish I had mafe more instead of my oatmeal cookies which were yummy, in my opinion anyway.

So I took myself the the roadhouse for a steak dinner

After one of your long days.  I would have scrambled eggs or had a salad and crashed.

I really started to dwell on it last evening.

This does not surprise me.

I saw a Williams-Sonoma ad the other day for air fryers. I love the concept, but they were saying you can use them to make kale crisps. kale crisps? Does anyone eat kale crisps? I've never even heard of them.

I believe  kale chips are very popular, or the latest fad

I'm glad to hear that was your dessert. In the NYTimes the other day a woman shared her recipe for homemade vanilla ice cream. I have no doubt it's quite delicious. She then said she puts a scoop of it into her breakfast smoothie. Uh, no.

Oh, no. No, no. No, no, no. And a thousand times no.

Why?  What is wrong with that?

Because if you start the day with ice cream, then what will you eat for dessert? (And think of the pounds you'd pack on. At least I would.)

Dessert should always be eaten first :)

We're at intermission and they are really enjoying the show!

That's great!

Why would you put ice cream in a drink that has all those vegetables in it? Think of spinach and vanilla ice cream together. Then think of me losing lunch in the sink.

Funny, you think veggies and I think fruit for a breakfast smoothie.

Well, tonight's show is almost over.  We had a great audience.  Hopefully, they'll continue for the rest of the run.

Until later!

So the same audience returns for every performance? :)
