DR Vixmom you look beautiful.  The photo of you both at the lovely restaurant is terrific, and Vixdad look spiffy all dressed up to celebrate your special day.

It's official.  We're cancelling.  The one woman who came said that she can come back next weekend.  She otherwise seemed very supportive of us and really wanted us to know that she'll come back.

Nice lady.

I don't think that we will ever have Sunday night shows at 9:00 again...heat be damned!

This really doesn't surprise me.

Just made the decision to replace the lighting gal - I just cannot worry about her and how she feels and whether she'll take exception to something and I know I'd have that in the back of my head when she's at rehearsal, and I don't and can't do that.  I need complete positivity during any show, but especially this one.  I asked Doug Haverty how he would have reacted and he told me he would have hung up on her.  Our new costume guy strongly recommended a young fellow that he's worked with, I talked to him, liked his energy, and he, like the costume guy, has known Sami since she was a kid.  All good, but I have never in all these years made these kinds of replacements - but, better now than later.

You do what you have to do, BK.  I've never had to make this kind of decision, but I've worked with people who have.  It probably wasn't an easy decision to make.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Sorry about the low turnout, George, but I can understand that on a Sunday night.

Thanks, John.  It's actually fine.  The show is costing us almost nothing, so it's not as great a loss as it could've been.

Bruce it seems like you really tried with the lighting gal.  I thought you would have let her go sooner than you did.
