Well, you've read the notes, the notes bathed in Epsom salts, and now it is time for you to post until the salty cows come home.

I guess I've been living in a cave, because I have never seen Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

Add it to my long list of never-seen classics.

Wow - the Kritzerland limited-edition release of Bachrach's score for Casino Royale on CD has used copies on Amazon going for between $150 and $600.

There is also a new attempt at the restoration and re-mastering of this music on the market:

Yesterday was a day of outdoors labor.  Got some good stuff done, but boy were my arms tired.

Today is a rather lovely dark windy rainy one with no obligations, and I look forward to some rather lovely indoor musical activities.

Got a rather lovely price quote from our gentleman caller re the painting of the front door, so in a few weeks the front of the house is going to look better than it has in years.

DR CHAS SMITH the awful actress is the one who plays The Inspector.....she doesn't come on until the second act....so the audience gets a respite - that they don't even know about.

Lovely notes....yes I remember that GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER was one of those movies that EVERYONE went to see and talked about incessantly....and went to see again and again.

I enjoyed it.....

I forgot the IndieGO campaign, so I paid for the CD, too!

So....the NEXT six releases will be sent to me automatically?  Is that right?  It just seems so WRONG not to order them.....I can't get that into my brain....it is so full of lines and blocking and re-blocking....etc etc etc.....

Many people do not realize that the original working title for No, No, Nannette was No, No, Gnomes.

Interesting.  That original LP was one of the holiest of grails among audiophiles for years, and you couldn't find a good copy for less than a king's ransom.  As one who never possessed a king's ransom, and who came too late to Kritzerland to get the CD, I remain depraved on account of I'm deprived.

Morning, all!

I have been known to bathe in Epsom salts on occasion (the occasion generally being when my back decides to act up, which it's done about 2-3x a year for the past decade or so).
