We stopped for some guacamole & chips from a restaurant what makes exceptional guacamole & chips.  Keith ate a few bites and I ate down to the half way mark.  If it is still good tomorrow we will buy some Saturday night to serve to company on Sunday.  Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays.

I was very happy to do a test run today :)

Well, I'm off to the movies.  A friend e-mailed me, asking if I wanted to go to the movies with him for free!  He volunteers at the Olympia Film Society and gets free tickets.  His girlfriend doesn't want to go, so I said that I would.  We're going to see Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

Be back later.

My friend didn't get my e-mail in time, so he never came down to the theater.

Since he was going to give me a free ticket, I didn't go by myself and pay for a ticket.

The problem with this 26-year old videotape is that there is a clicking sound all through the video. :(

I'm at the intermission section and the clicking is less noticeable than at the beginning of the tape, but it's still there.

Don't know if this can be of any help, or if the resolution would be any good, but as of a couple of years ago the entire ALNM broadcast was on YouTube (in several parts).

Damn.  I thought I'd downloaded it, but if it's here, it's on some other hard drive.

It's really interesting to see how differently the "Live from Lincoln Center" program itself is.

I had seen that too, ChasSmith, but didn't download it because I knew that I had the videotape.  Obviously, I didn't check my tape in time to record it without the clicking.

My condolences to DR John G. I think this is one of the most difficult aspects of aging, losing friends.

Bruce, what are the dates for Sami's show? If you mentioned them I missed it. I'm having trouble managing my own calendar at the moment.
