It’s weird being the same age as old people

I'm up too late.  I'll never be first post after BK tomorrow (or even be in the running for it) at this rate.

All the lists people have been making of favorite songs about summer have gotten me re-hooked on this Linda Purl performance of "Blame it On the Summer Night" on BK's channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PpKc9yGHVg

I really like that version, also.

And then I had to deal with another piece of crap annoyance, but the result is that I'm giving back a CD so that I don't ever have to deal with the people again - I wish this had happened months ago, but in the end, as annoying as it's been, I just feel great relief about it.  I only wish I hadn't JUST made it Grammy eligible.

BK, does that mean if it's nominated and wins that you won't get the award, or does it mean that you would you have to share it?

Someone snapped this photo this afternoon. I was barely awake, thanks to having taken a full Benedryl, but I like the photo.

That's a great picture, John!

It doesn't have a shot at winning.  I don't know how it would work actually, as I'm the only credited by name producer - the executive producer credit is to a company.  But since I'd be giving the album back, I'm not sure it can even be nominated via Kritzerland now, so I'll call NARAS and get the story.

Relaxing, listening to Shearing and reading more The Season.  I had no patience for a movie and I'm just trying to get this day OFF of me.
