Good morning, Sir Elmore!

DR TCB!  You are usually on HHW after I've gone to bed.  How good to see you!

EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS to MR BK for posting the Annette house photos......sad....that is where she lived with her family during MOST of the time she was on the Mickey Mouse Club.....they moved to Encino when she was in her late teens.

Well rehearsal last night was pretty good....this is a FUNNY show and there are a lot of funny people in it...

TWAW continued her reign of terror, and the stage manager was writing away - but I just ignored them both.

My friend Vickie plays an old, doddering woman....so I stepped on a few of her lines.....her quote is on my Book Face Page.

Friday morning greetings!  Still unseasonably cool here in SW Ohio, perfect for all the errands I have to run today.

TOD

CD:  Assassins, Assassins, and more Assassins.  (Mostly the revival.)

LP:  I need to take a day off from (see CDs, above) and relax with some Capitol Records as per the notes of the past few days.  Kenton and Shearing, perhaps some Sinatra.

BD/DVD:  I've had plans to get to The Black Stallion.  Let's see if I can make that happen.

Good news from DR Elmore is always good news.

Here's hoping for better news from the likes of BK today than there was yesterday.

Speaking of SW Ohio (which I wasn't, but DR Ginny was), I'll be making a quick visit there around September 14-17.  I wish I could manage to be there when DR Elmore's there -- which probably isn't doable, because what a nice get-together that could be.  Can you just imagine, say, a tour of Middletown given by both DRs Ginny and Elmore?  (Preferably with a documentary filmmaker along...)

Richard does a great "landmark" tour of Middletown!

Earlier this year, following a request from a Facebook friend, I helped a British high school boy with his composition and orchestration. Tonight I am meeting my Facebook friend and his son the composer, who graduated with honors, for dinner before they see On The Town. The trip to New York was a graduation gift.

How very nice Larry.  Have a good afternoon.

I doubt the people in the  white house next to Annette's house will be happy.

And I am home from Columbia to find the Big Mac behaving badly. I also got in my email some forms to fill out for this October lecture.  The fee will purchase a new Mac, and that makes me very happy.
