I wish this storm had a male name.

That way it would never get passed the Virgin Islands.

;D

No hurricane vibes!

I swam today because it might rain tomorrow.  I wasn't in the mood to swim, until I got into the water.  It felt soooo good and I was the only one there.

DR John G. - do you find it difficult to use your CPAP mask when your allergies are at their worst?

I find it impossible. Even with the Benedryl, sometimes my nostrils won't open enough for the air pressure to work. And I have a BiPap, which supposedly adjusts to your breathing abilities.

John (and anyone else), have you heard about this Indiegogo campaign?:

Airing: the first hoseless, maskless, micro-CPAP.

The campaign is finished, but I'm sure that it's just the beginning for this product.

Wow! What a difference!

I know.  I would be tempted to find out if I need one of these small ones, no so the big CPAP machine.

We moved my desk today and my office looks better.  It still needs a lot of work.  I can't see outside anymore but that is ok.

Well, I must be off.  Some theater friends of mine bought a new (to them) house last year and it has a barn on the property.  Michael (the husband) borrowed a projector from his work and they've been showing movies on the side of their barn after dark.

Because I was involved in a play for the last month, I could never go...until tonight!  Finally, I get to see a movie on the big barn outside in their yard with lots of other people.  I brought my own chair and a blanket and jacket if it gets too cold.  They're showing a double feature:  "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Temple of Doom."  My friend Margo loves outdoor movies, so she's going also.

HOWEVER, it might rain and then we'd all have to leave. :'(

Now we have the "afterglow", which involved frivolity, food, and beverages of an alcoholic nature.

It's a very enlightened retreat center, apparently.         :)

stopped by the ATM and Vixdad got out a little spending 4 - not too much since most of the trip is in Canada and our motus operandi is to just use the Canadian ATMs

as I predicted (despite Vixdad's (the railroad commuter)  pooh poohs traffic was already starting to get heavy by 6 am  but the HOV lanes only need 2 so we sailed right by the hoi polloi and got to the airport in good time

a little going around the wrong way in the airport and the bright sun shining blindingly through the windshield didn't help but we suffered no mishaps and by 6:45  he kissed me good bye and set off for Canada
