I have seen the production photos from The Game's Afoot.....I am fat and my ill-fitting costumes just emphasize the point.

I messaged the director and asked if she can please find me another smoking jacket/robe.  I can wear the Holmes coat draped over my shoulders....but it is a tragedy.

Perhaps the comedy of the play will save me.....but I am not sure.

Well! My Ohio dance card is filling up quite nicely.  On Tuesday Oct. 6, I will speak to the Wright State Musical Theatre students on orchestration, musical theatre reconstruction, restoration, and what I hoped I was accomplishing.

That's great, Larry!

Do you have your main presentation outlined or partially written?

Now I have two presentations.  The big one is in the planning stages. The thread is solid and I have to make notes on titles, producers and sideline aspects. The Wright State presentation is still nebulous, but it will be a Q&A with sound clips.

And I'm getting paid for both! Too much bliss.

That's VERY good news!!

Dean Jones, the first and best Bobby, IMO, has died.

I saw him as Cap'n Andy in Show Boat.

Back from a jog and had my little snack, which will have to tide me over until about eight-thirty this evening.  Then I'll probably go have a chopped salad.

I saw him as Cap'n Andy in Show Boat.

That's very sad. I last saw him in that COMPANY reunion around 1994.

Christina Applegate IS Meryl Streep!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUNTJkb24bc

That is funny.

I don't get it.  I only see a video about Ivan the gorilla.  The title says "Christina Applegate Plays Meryl Streep's Most Famous Roles Really Badly," but the video that plays does not have Christina Applegate at all. :-\

One of the links on the side of that page (for me) is "Christina Applegate Plays Meryl Streep in Hilarious Lifetime Biopic Spoof—Watch Now!" but that just brings up an red carpet-type interview with Christina Applegate and David Faustino.  Very strange.

Door is primed and ready for paint tomorrow!

Oops, wrong.  Friday is when they do it.

Fortunately, it already looks great with just the primer on it.

DR George -

Try this link:
http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/b4df160052/meryl-the-lifetime-biopic-with-christina-applegate

Okay, when I clicked on that link, it looked like it was going to the right video, but I got an error message, "Internet Explorer has stopped working," and my browser tab closed.  However, when I went to www.funnyordie.com and clicked on the link from their home page, it took me to this longer link that worked without any trouble:

http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/b4df160052/meryl-the-lifetime-biopic-with-christina-applegate?_cc=__d___&_ccid=dlqh5o.nu2jup

Very strange!  Anyway, I finally got to see it and it is funny! :D

For reasons I cannot remotely explain, Cardinal Dolan seems like such a slimeball. I am so glad I'm not Catholic. The guilt over that would kill me.

DR LAURA must be outside cutting up fallen down trees for firewood.

Well she needs that firewood.  Winter's coming on and soon the temperatures in Arizona will drop to 70 degrees.

I never saw him on stage but I liked him on the big screen and the little screen.

DR Laura do you know what bird looks like a regular Sparrow but has an extremely short tail?

LOL. I'm pretty bad with sparrows. The only thing I can think of with a short tail is a dipper. Is it near the water?
