Has anybody else noticed a new channel, "BUZZR?"  It plays old game shows.  I've been watching episodes of What's My Line and To Tell the Truth from the 1960's.  One thing that struck me is that all of the panelists are deceased, except Betty White, who's been on several of the shows.

Betty White has outlived EVERYBODY!  She was the oldest actress on "The Golden Girls" and she's now the only one left from that show, also.

DR TCB, I wish i had the money to buy you the power scooter Deluxe Model.  As soon as I win the lottery you will be a terror on wheels.

I have a hunch DR TCB may be a terror on wheels regardless. But I hope you win the lottery, anyway.

Finally, with three coats of Sherwin-Williams Burgundy.

Sorry about the flash reflection.  The sun was of no help.  Hard to get good help nowadays.

Looks quite handsome. Is the siding gray?

Thank you to DRs George and John G for the Richard vibes that I found when I returned from some errands.  Our doctor had called while I was away and told him that the CT scan showed nothing of concern.

Good news. Glad to hear it.

Thank you, also, to DRs George, Jane, JRand, and John G for the anniversary wishes for Rob and Mary Linda.  Hallmark told me that the traditional gift for #4 is fruit or flowers, so I went to Edible Arrangements and got them chocolate-dipped strawberries that look like roses in a vase.  They were delighted!

A clever idea for a gift. I can't believe it's been four years! Congrats from me, too.

Our spell of hot weather seems to have ended. The cool air is so refreshing! It feels like early fall. Last year it was hot until November. I much prefer this.

I know, right?  This one kind of sneaked up on me and I'm glad I was able to come up with something quickly.  The Edible Arrangements shop is right across from the Target where I needed to do some shopping today anyway.

This has turned out to be a terrible day for allergies.  Wednesday was bad with the sneezing and whatnot, yesterday was fine, and today was worse than Wednesday.  What in the HELL?

I took a Benadryl to get me through the morning, which worked, while leaving me drowsy all afternoon.  I'm holding off till I go to bed, then I'll pop another to get some solid sleep.

To answer a couple of questions...

The color of the door is "burgundy" but is indeed close to a barn red.

The siding is vinyl, and is gray.

And now, I'm off.  Friends of mine are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a dinner and I was invited.  I don't know what they're serving, other than it's mostly vegan and/or gluten free. :-\

Oh, well.  My friends are the reason I'm going.  I don't think it's a full sit-down meal.  If it's just finger food, I can just get what I think I might like (I'm not an adventurous eater).

Be back later!

Where is your quote from DR JOHN G?

The dancing quote is from The Tap Dance Kid. The quote at the bottom is from Sunday in the Park with George.

Beautiful front door, Chas.  I just painted mine a few weeks ago. Gray. Quite dull.
